Featuring high-quality photos and original stories for fifty Balefire Blades swords, the book is a tangible way to relive highlights from the business's first three years.

The stories are drawn from the Balefire website, which features a unique piece of fiction to accompany every bespoke sword made. This really highlights the fact that each sword is unique, made for its wielder like a fated sword in a fantasy novel.

The book was an idea suggested by clients, who appreciated the fantasy aesthetic of the brand, and the unique selling point of the short stories. Having always been inspired by fantasy art books from film franchises and graphic artists, it was a pleasure to add our own to the bookshelf.

I not only wrote the stories and the ephemera, but also edited the photographs and formatted the book to include a balance of text, images and informative tables of specs for each sword.
